As the owner of Angela Morris Design, I want my clients to enjoy their project and I can promise we are going to have a good time working on it together! I will help you collectively work on your space to create the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love. I have been designing for over 30 years. My design background goes back to childhood; I am a product of artists, painters, sculptures and constructors. I spent half of my life in Europe, Vienna, Austria, where it is hard not to take in and love the architecture. My background includes being certified by UC Riverside as a designer, where I have also had the absolute pleasure of teaching at the University. I will be teaching the Introduction to Interior Design course, a certification program, at UCR's Palm Desert campus in Fall 2019.
With so many years in industry and experience working for various firms, I am a wealth of information and will always design for you as an individual. Design is a process we must do together.
A famous designer taught me that there are three very important fundamentals that I have incorporated into my own design firm:
1. Never forget whose home it is.
2. Never forget whose money is being spent.
3. Never forget who will be using the space after I am long gone.
I am a designer that is also very active in my community. I am a chairperson for the Alzheimer Organization and I am a very proud supporter of our military. I give discounts to military, educators, police and firefighters; thank you for your sacrifices and service!
